Data Protection Statement for Applicants
With this data protection statement we inform you about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of your personal data. Data processing takes place exclusively in accordance with the provisions of data protection law.
Data processing in the context of applications
The data provided by you in your application (contact data, data on your training and professional experience, other data provided by you) will be processed by us for the purpose of personnel selection. This is done as pre-contractual measure or on grounds of our legitimate interest (employment of suitable and appropriately qualified employees). We have received the data provided in your application either directly from you or from a recruitment agency, or a company of the group.
In any case, we will keep your personal data for the duration of the application process. In the event of a rejection, we will store your data for a maximum of seven months from the date of rejection, unless we have obtained or received your consent to keep records. The provision of data is not required by law or contract and there is no other obligation. Without the provision of your data, however, it would not be possible to process, review and consider your application.
The data provided will be processed within the organization of the Controller only by those employees who need it for the purpose of fulfilling their tasks. Furthermore, the data will only be passed on for the above-mentioned purposes. In individual cases this can be e.g. companies of the group, legal advisors, IT service providers etc. As a matter of principle, there is no intention to transfer data to a third country, if such a transfer takes place in an individual case, this will be done taking into account the requirements of data protection law. Automated individual decision-making is not used.
Under data protection law you have the following rights: The rights to access to information and rectification or erasure of personal data, restriction of processing of personal data or data portability. As far as the processing is based on a consent, the right exists to revoke the consent at any time, without the legality of the processing carried out due to the consent up to the revocation being affected. There is also a right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
In the event of processing on the basis of legitimate interests, a right of objection exists. If you object to the processing for purposes of direct marketing, the personal data will no longer be used for these purposes. If we process data for other purposes on the basis of legitimate interest, we will no longer process the personal data, unless we have compelling reasons for processing which outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
