The first American style shopping center in Croatia was opened in the autumn of 2006; it was a greenfield development directly located in the best catchment area.
- CC Real greenfield development of the first western style mall in Croatia and creating the City Center one brand – opening in 2006.
- Since its opening City Center one Zagreb West has achieved the best marks from its customers and partners from year to year, and the citizens of Zagreb have been declaring it the best shopping destination.
- City Center one West successfully expanded in 2009 and complemented its offer with a wide selection of world-known brands.
- MSREI acquired 65% in 2015 and increased its stake in 2017 to 80%. CC Real remained co-invested and continued managing the asset.
- Introduction of all Inditex brands (Zara, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius and Pull&Bear) in Spring 2017.
- Successful implementation of major refurbishment program including a complete mall revamping, a new food court and sanitary facilities by the beginning of 2016.
- Sale to Hyprop in 2018, while CC Real stayed on as co-investor and operating partner.
- In 2019 CC Real sold the remaining stake to Hyprop but continues managing the asset.
- Continued development of the asset through the creation and execution of sustainable management strategy that includes proactive tenant relations and leasing tactics with a goal to upgrade and refresh the tenant mix.
